Clinical Technology Specialist (Medical Technology)

Location: Chesapeake, Virginia, USA; recurring field work at healthcare facilities, with daily driving and occasional overnight travel.

Salary: USD 50,000–60,000 per year

What you will do

• Set up and operate surgical technologies before and during procedures.
• Provide technical equipment guidance to surgeons and clinical staff.
• Complete preoperative checklists, sterilization, equipment calibration, and documentation.
• Load and transport surgical equipment to healthcare facilities.
• Follow vehicle, workplace, and laser safety procedures.
• Build professional relationships with healthcare partners while delivering strong customer service.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with no major violations required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible availability for early mornings, evening cases, occasional weekends, and overnight travel.
• Ability to push, pull, and manipulate medical equipment weighing over 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• Must meet assigned medical facilities’ credentialing requirements, including required immunizations and possible health screenings, background checks, and drug screens.

Nice to have

• Medical, EMT, surgical technologist, or military experience.
• Experience with long days, unpredictable schedules, and early-morning work.
