Patient Education Liaison Community East FL GA (Rare Diseases)

Location: Remote within the US; US and Puerto Rico residents only. The role covers the East Florida and Georgia territory and requires 50%–75% travel.

Salary: $122,250–$176,583.33 per year.

What you will do

• Deliver branded and unbranded disease, inheritance, and product education to patients and families across the rare disease portfolio.
• Assess individual education needs and create personalized action plans addressing patient barriers and concerns.
• Facilitate individual, family, group, community, and patient-organization education programs at regional and national levels.
• Provide disease and product in-services for home and outpatient infusion settings and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Partner with Commercial, Medical, Marketing, Case Management, and Strategic Account Management teams on patient support and account strategies.
• Analyze patient and account data, document communications in CRM, maintain compliance, and provide caseload coverage outside the assigned territory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or life sciences, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience in a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication, mediation, problem-solving, empathy, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to clinical and non-clinical audiences and work effectively in a complex matrix environment.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, flexibility, persistence, and creativity.
• Must be able to travel extensively, 50%–75%.

Nice to have

• Genetic counseling certification or nursing registration.
• Master of Science or another advanced medical or scientific degree.
• Biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience in genetics, neurology/neuromuscular, renal, or hematology/oncology specialties.
• Spanish language skills.
