Medical Science Liaison Specialty Care NOLA (AI)

Location: Panama, Panama. Work location assignment: Hybrid. The role is field-based, requires regular travel across the assigned NOLA geography, and no relocation will be provided.

What you will do

• Develop and execute territory scientific engagement plans aligned with medical priorities, stakeholder needs, and agreed outcomes.
• Build peer-to-peer scientific relationships with specialists, investigators, healthcare professionals, scientific societies, and healthcare institutions.
• Conduct balanced, non-promotional scientific exchange and respond accurately to unsolicited medical questions.
• Gather, synthesize, and communicate field insights, unmet needs, evidence gaps, and barriers to care.
• Coordinate cross-border medical activities, medical education, advisory boards, congresses, and scientific meetings.
• Support evidence generation, investigator-initiated research, site identification, pharmacovigilance, product quality, and compliance reporting.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor with an advanced health-related degree, or a life-sciences bachelor's degree with an MSc in a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs, MSL or field medical work, clinical practice, clinical research, academia, or the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Ability to interpret complex clinical evidence and communicate credibly with specialist audiences.
• Demonstrated AI fluency, including practical use of LLMs or agent creation; experience with Copilot and Claude is desirable.
• Professional English proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level for scientific communication and regional collaboration.
• Authorization to work in Panama, a valid driver's license when required, and willingness to travel regularly across the assigned NOLA geography.

Nice to have

• Field medical experience across multiple Latin American markets or healthcare systems.
• Experience with medical education, research, data dissemination, or scientific activities across a regional structure.
