Senior Deployment Strategist (FDE, Healthcare & Life Sciences)

Location: United States; customer work is onsite, typically 25–50% and sometimes higher.

Base salary: $219,765–$302,220 USD annually, depending on pay zone and candidate factors. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with Sales and customer executives to discover high-value business problems, quantify value, and define pilots, MVPs, success criteria, and timelines.
• Own product direction from discovery through production by authoring PRDs, prioritizing engineering backlogs, managing scope, and translating business needs into data, integration, security, and operational requirements.
• Lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, design reviews, and agile delivery with Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Manage launch readiness across data quality, testing, security, performance, and operations; lead the launch war room and drive issues to resolution.
• Drive adoption through user feedback, iteration, documentation, training, and measurable business outcomes.
• Plan ongoing maintenance, identify follow-on engagements, codify reusable solution patterns, and share field insights with Product and Engineering.

Requirements

• Strong executive presence, communication skills, and ability to build trust with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to define products, write requirements, prioritize engineering work, manage scope, and lead complex agile software projects.
• Fluency in modern data and AI architectures, including cloud platforms, data pipelines, data models, distributed systems, APIs, security, governance, machine learning, and generative AI application patterns.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or data language such as Python, Java, or SQL; ability to explore data, work in notebooks, review code and pipelines, build prototypes, and troubleshoot.
• Typically 7+ years of experience delivering complex customer-facing data, analytics, AI, or software engagements, or equivalent founder or technical-builder experience.
• Experience delivering data, machine learning, or generative AI systems into production and understanding their integration, operational, and adoption challenges.
