Trade Settlements Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Paris or within commuting distance, with 1–2 days per week in the Paris office

Salary: €30,000–€45,000 per year

BCB Payments (Europe) operates in fintech and payments, supporting FX and crypto trade settlement activities.

What you will do

• Match FX and crypto trade details between counterparties and internal systems.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in trade and settlement data.
• Execute settlement procedures in line with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor settlement queues and coordinate with banking partners on outstanding items.
• Maintain accurate trade and settlement records for regulatory documentation.
• Communicate settlement statuses, resolve queries, and escalate potential settlement risks.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a settlements or trade support role.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, and ownership.
• Clear communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams under pressure and remain flexible with working hours.
• Must be based in Paris or within commuting distance to support hybrid office attendance.

Nice to have

• Understanding or experience with FPS, CHAPS, FEDWIRE, SEPA, and SWIFT payment rails.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or banking.
