Production Engineer Team Lead (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Conroe, Texas, United States; onsite at the production plant

hirify.global operates the Performance Products Division and is hiring for its chemical manufacturing site in Conroe.

What you will do

• Supervise five production engineers by assigning projects, managing workflow, mentoring employees, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Provide technical advice to the Senior Operations Manager and support day-to-day production engineering activities.
• Manage front-end process functions, set process priorities, and evaluate incoming process suggestions.
• Lead and participate in production meetings, process improvement teams, month-end closing, and plant metric reviews.
• Conduct scope and process reviews, develop process justifications, and prepare process overview presentations for plant and senior management.
• Adjust priorities to address changing site needs while improving plant operations and problem-solving approaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering preferred, with 8+ years of related experience in chemical plant manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading diverse, high-performing teams, including engineers.
• Experience with SAP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
• Must have an unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with process optimization.
