Sr Principal Software Engineer, AI Security Platform

Salary: $164,600–$288,000 USD annual base pay

What you will do

• Lead technical development and long-term evolution of an AI-powered code security scanner platform.
• Modernize the platform and improve scalability across enterprise codebases.
• Develop reporting dashboards, workflow management, and administrative capabilities with secure authentication and authorization.
• Maintain and extend backend orchestration and software vulnerability scanning services.
• Integrate LLM-based security analysis, agent-based workflows, and automation frameworks.
• Mentor junior engineers and enhance automated vulnerability analysis, verification, and reporting.

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years in a lead, principal, or senior engineering role.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications in regulated environments.
• Expert-level React and Python development, modern SPA architecture, REST APIs, and API integrations.
• Experience with automation and orchestration frameworks, test automation, application security, and vulnerability management.
• Experience integrating Large Language Models and building agent-based workflows.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
