M365 / Power Platform Developer

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Power Platform applications and workflow automations.
• Build Power Apps Canvas and Model-Driven applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Lists.
• Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, and approved external systems.
• Design intuitive interfaces, create prototypes, and incorporate stakeholder and end-user feedback.
• Support application lifecycle management, environments, deployment pipelines, production releases, defect resolution, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical leads, analysts, testers, administrators, and developers in Agile delivery teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5+ years of professional experience developing business applications, workflow automation, or enterprise technology solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps Canvas applications and Power Automate workflows.
• Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Lists, Microsoft 365 services, data modeling, permissions, integrations, testing, and deployment.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and design user-friendly, accessible interfaces.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering Microsoft 365 or Power Platform solutions for federal government customers, preferably DHS or another large federal agency.
• Experience with Power Pages, Power BI, Power Platform ALM, CI/CD, managed solutions, environment strategies, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with REST APIs, custom connectors, Microsoft Graph, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, SPFx, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS.
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility, cybersecurity, records management, privacy, and federal compliance requirements.
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL-400 or PL-200, and experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
