Senior Application Programmer – Microsoft Power Platform

Location: Remote – Continental United States

Salary: $70–$80 hourly USD

What you will do

• Design, build, integrate, secure, and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions for the Claims Track Medical Review Panel.
• Develop Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate workflows, Dataverse solutions, and Power BI reports.
• Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure services, databases, APIs, and external systems.
• Define data models, business rules, security roles, reusable components, and deployment patterns.
• Manage Dev/Test/Production environments, ALM, troubleshooting, DLP policies, audits, and compliance with Louisiana OTS and applicable state and federal requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, project managers, and developers while mentoring junior and citizen developers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• 5+ years of experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and on-premises or cloud RDBMS.
• Strong experience with ALM, environment strategy, deployment, troubleshooting, SQL queries, security, and RBAC.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical designs.
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects in a shared-services environment.
• Ability to work remotely from the continental United States.

Nice to have

• Copilot Studio or other conversational AI platform experience.
• Government, public-sector, or regulated-environment experience.
• Microsoft SQL Server, Dynamics 365, Azure Logic Apps, Functions, or API Management experience.
• DevOps and CI/CD experience for Power Platform.
• Microsoft Power Platform Developer or Solution Architect certification.
