Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own, design, operate, and scale AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-based production environments.
• Improve reliability, availability, performance, scalability, and resilience as transaction volume and financial data workloads grow.
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and deployment tooling.
• Partner with backend and data engineers on PostgreSQL performance, reliability, backups, and scaling.
• Strengthen infrastructure security and access controls for sensitive financial data.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and the definition of infrastructure and operational standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Deep practical experience managing AWS environments and designing and scaling production Kubernetes clusters.
• Proven experience scaling high-availability production systems and managing PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and scaling.
• Extensive infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or similar technologies, plus strong CI/CD and observability experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud, network, and application security, including work with sensitive or regulated data.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-moving startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL-intensive applications and financial-data platforms.
• Background in fintech, wealth management, banking, lending, payments, or other transaction-oriented platforms.
• Experience working in SOC 2-compliant environments.
• Hands-on Python experience.
