Senior Project Manager (Non-IT)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end business processes, including strategy, design, performance management, controls, risks, dependencies, and continuous improvement.
• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives that improve capabilities, operational performance, and business outcomes.
• Partner with business, technology, risk, compliance, and operations stakeholders to define requirements, align priorities, resolve issues, and deliver sustainable solutions.
• Establish process performance monitoring through data, analytics, KPIs, controls, and governance frameworks.
• Identify and mitigate operational, regulatory, compliance, and delivery risks.
• Drive change adoption, stakeholder communication, business case development, implementation planning, and benefits realization.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in business process management, process engineering, process optimization, program or project management, consulting, operational excellence, or related fields.
• Knowledge of P&C Insurance operations, workflows, and business processes.
• Bachelor’s degree required; four additional years of relevant education or experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with process mapping, process improvement, risk and control assessment, governance, regulatory requirements, and project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment and using Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.

Nice to have

• U.S. military experience gained through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or related continuous improvement methodologies.
