Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Azure Cloud Product Team)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and support core cloud infrastructure with the Cloud Architecture team.
• Analyze application migration requirements and recommend cloud service implementations.
• Configure and maintain cloud management automation, notifications, and reporting.
• Support legacy application migrations across compute, storage, networking, data, security, containers, and platforms.
• Troubleshoot cloud service events and coordinate resolution with cloud service providers.
• Design disaster recovery strategies, document architecture and best practices, and mentor team members while supporting the cloud platform 24/7.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience and a bachelor's degree or comparable combination of education and experience.
• Deep experience with Azure and/or AWS, including IaaS, PaaS, and native cloud capabilities.
• Hands-on experience architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based applications and solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud networking and web standards, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, web security, load balancers, firewalls, switches, and routers.
• Experience or knowledge with Terraform, CI/CD tools, and configuration management.
• Must work in the Pittsburgh office; employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.

Nice to have

• Jenkins and Ansible experience.
• Experience with Azure AI, including AI Foundry, Search, and APIM.
• Programming experience with Python and Go.
