What you will do

• Develop automated infrastructure tools for a private OpenStack cloud, network, and hardware fleet.
• Design OS and firmware update strategies focused on testing, stability, performance, security, and remote management.
• Build automated testing tools for servers and operating system images.
• Monitor server fleet health and performance, supporting upgrades, proactive maintenance, and anomaly detection.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and programming tools for fleet management using Ansible, Terraform, Python, Go, and Rust.
• Develop hardware lifecycle strategies and track innovations in CPUs, chipsets, storage, GPUs, firmware, and BMC technologies.

Requirements

• Professional software development experience with Python, Go, Rust, or C.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform in an enterprise private-cloud environment.
• Hands-on experience with OS and firmware management, server hardware, Redfish, BMC, and IPMI.
• Understanding of OpenStack, server hardware architecture, virtualization, storage, GPU integration, and interoperability standards.
• Experience implementing logging and dashboards with Grafana, Prometheus, or Loki.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.

Nice to have

• Certifications in hardware engineering, firmware management, or data center operations.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
