What you will do
- Post customer payments, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Verify and enter revenue transactions and maintain accurate receivables data.
- Track unpaid invoices and support timely collection of receivables.
- Investigate account discrepancies with sales, trade promotions, customer service, and customers.
- Resolve authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries and maintain invoice, debit, and credit records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or associate degree in accounting or finance.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Knowledge of standard accounting and finance concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accurate computer data entry.
- Ability to work in an office environment and sit for extended periods.
