Senior Software Development Engineer- IHUB

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; hybrid schedule with onsite work Tuesday through Thursday each week.

Salary: $180,000–$225,000 annual base salary, plus equity and additional compensation components.

What you will do

• Design and deliver partner integrations for global pay-in and pay-out networks supporting money movement across more than 170 countries.
• Build well-tested, observable, documented, efficient, scalable, and resilient services in a cloud-based architecture.
• Use AI-assisted development for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation while validating correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Own service operations, including on-call responsibilities, SLOs, incident response, and operational health.
• Lead technical specifications, design reviews, task breakdowns, estimates, and tradeoff discussions with product and operations partners.
• Mentor engineers, participate in interviews, advise global partners, and help shape the technical roadmap.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building, shipping, and maintaining consumer software products.
• 2+ years of experience with services deployed on a commercial cloud provider such as AWS.
• At least 1 year leading features involving multiple engineers.
• Expertise in Java, Go, or another general-purpose programming language, as well as large-scale databases such as MySQL or DynamoDB.
• Experience with monitoring systems such as Prometheus and VictoriaMetrics, technical architecture, system design, and legacy-service modernization.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; clear technical writing and in-person communication skills.
