M&A Manager (Tax Advisory)

Location: Hybrid, based in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, New York, the San Francisco Bay Area, South Florida, Southern California, or Washington, D.C. Travel is required as needed based on client location.

Salary: $117.5K–$174.5K annually

What you will do

• Lead research and analysis for M&A tax advisory, transaction, and strategic projects.
• Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence and develop tax-efficient acquisition and divestment structures.
• Serve as a day-to-day client contact and provide transaction-related tax consulting.
• Oversee reports, presentations, and other client-facing deliverables.
• Plan and deliver project budgets and workstreams on time and within budget.
• Coach junior team members and provide performance feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or taxation.
• At least 5 years of combined experience in tax compliance and M&A advisory or consulting.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and work effectively in a changing environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel based on client location.
