Senior Audit Manager, Capital Partners (Wealth Management)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid with a minimum of three days per week in the office

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 base salary annually, plus an annual bonus target

What you will do

• Lead and review internal audit engagements for the Capital Partners private wealth management business.
• Manage multiple project teams, including multidisciplinary teams working on cross-enterprise matters.
• Evaluate risks, controls, policies, procedures, and management’s risk-monitoring practices.
• Follow up on audit findings, recommend corrective actions, and facilitate practical solutions.
• Draft audit reports and present findings, implications, and recommendations to senior management.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop audit staff while providing strategic risk advice to business leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of experience leading audit engagements within financial services, specifically asset management and wealth management.
• At least one professional audit certification, such as CPA, CIA, or CFIRS.
• Project management experience and strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management and maintain relationships across client organizations.
• Ability to work from the New York City office at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Prior managerial experience.
• Knowledge of fiduciary regulations, trust audits, and regulatory examinations.
• Experience participating in complex audits or serving as a subject-matter expert.
