Operator, Polymer - Night Shift

Location: Marietta, United States; onsite at the Marietta chemical plant. The role requires working all shifts during training, with an expectation of night-shift work afterward, including 13-hour shifts.

What you will do

• Charge, feed, monitor, and control blending and reaction vessels according to written procedures.
• Operate the Distributed Control System and reactor support equipment.
• Handle production chemicals safely and transport materials using a forklift.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and report safety hazards promptly.
• Support emergency response procedures and perform additional duties under supervision.

Requirements

• Experience in a chemical plant, heavy production environment, or similar industry.
• Strong commitment to quality, HSE, and process safety compliance.
• Ability to execute emergency response procedures.
• Solid mathematics skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to wear a respirator, operate motor vehicles, and work around moving machinery.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb ladders, work in contained areas, and frequently lift up to 55 lbs.
