Sr Software Development Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and operate scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines for the NHI Governance domain.
• Develop services that discover, assess, and remediate non-human identities, including service accounts, workload identities, secrets, keys, and AI agents.
• Own features end to end, from technical design and implementation through production rollout, observability, and operational health.
• Integrate backend services with frontend workflows and platform teams across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Lead design discussions, review requirements, resolve complex reliability issues, and maintain secure development practices.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and share cloud-native development practices.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in C#, Go, TypeScript, Java, or a similar modern language, with experience building APIs and microservices.
• Full-stack capability with a primary focus on backend services and the ability to work with modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks.
• Hands-on daily experience with Claude Code or comparable agentic AI coding tools, including critical review of generated code.
• Production AWS experience, including compute, IAM, managed data stores, reliability, and cost awareness.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or CloudFormation, data modeling, testing, and observability.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in identity security, IAM, NHI and secrets management, AWS IAM, Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth, or OIDC.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, graph data modeling, analytics at scale, or multi-tenant services.
• Familiarity with Angular, React, or Vue with TypeScript.
