VB.NET Developer

Location: Onsite in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, United States

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 per annum

What you will do

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.
• Develop and maintain web applications with AngularJS and JavaScript.
• Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL and SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
• Use ADO.NET for database connectivity and implement business rules with Corticon.
• Troubleshoot defects, production incidents, and performance issues; perform root-cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Participate in application design, testing, deployment, maintenance, source control, and collaboration with analysts, QA, and technical teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with VB.NET and C#.
• Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, AngularJS, JavaScript, ADO.NET, and TFS.
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL and SQL skills.
• Experience with Corticon or another business rules engine.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, production support, SDLC, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Prior state government or public-sector experience.
