Transportation Clerk Seasonal

Location: Del Rey, California, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Dispatch loads to carriers and brokers.
• Oversee transportation from shipping docks through final customer delivery.
• Monitor and report driver issues, including accidents, safety concerns, and weather disruptions.
• Coordinate with sales, shipping, claims, customer service, and other departments to resolve transportation issues.
• Verify truck check-ins and pickup numbers, participate in carrier scorecarding, and support transportation performance metrics.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• One to two years of experience preferred.
• Excellent attendance and availability for evenings and weekends.
• Strong decision-making, communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced computer skills; experience with Oracle Warehouse Management or Oracle Transportation Management preferred.
• Basic knowledge of DOT trucking regulations preferred.
