Senior Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Stockholm, with on-site work Monday–Thursday at Sveavägen 63; Fridays are flexible. Applicants must already have the right to work in Sweden.

What you will do

• Reshape the data platform foundations, including multi-tenancy, retention, and data contracts with backend services.
• Define the future warehouse strategy, evaluating self-hosted Postgres, Snowflake, BigQuery, and other options.
• Unify operational databases, Amplitude product analytics, and S3-based partner integrations.
• Build observability through lineage, freshness monitoring, and meaningful alerting.
• Own trustworthy reporting used by finance, operations, and the board.
• Collaborate directly with backend, product, and finance teams to improve how data is produced and consumed.

Requirements

• Production experience designing and running data platforms, including build-versus-buy and transformation decisions.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, with practical knowledge of Postgres warehouse usage.
• Experience with dbt or an equivalent tool and data modelling concepts such as staging, marts, and tests.
• Working knowledge of managed warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect, and an understanding of data contracts.
• English is the working language within tech; Swedish is a strong plus. Healthcare data experience is a plus, GDPR fluency is expected, and Patientdatalagen familiarity is a bonus.
