Lead Engineer, Full Stack (US)

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Set technical direction for full-stack features and systems, establishing standards for scalability, correctness, maintainability, and code quality.
• Build and maintain front-end applications with React and Next.js and develop maintainable application logic.
• Own complex API integrations, including contracts, validation, reliability, and communication between internal and external systems.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, cross-disciplinary alignment, and decisions about data flow and technical trade-offs.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and strong engineering practices.
• Evaluate and apply emerging technologies and frameworks to improve system health.

Requirements

• Backend development experience with Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code, including GCP, AWS, or Azure; Terraform, Pulumi, or similar; Kubernetes; and networking principles.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, relational schema design, and vector embeddings for AI search.
• Experience with event-driven systems such as SQS, SNS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Frontend experience with React and modern CSS such as Tailwind, plus CI/CD using GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with AI-native development tools and agentic frameworks such as Cursor, Devin, Claude Code, Google ADK, LiteLLM, or LangChain.

• Experience in an agency, consultancy, or enterprise SaaS organization.
