Solutions Engineering Specialist (Auth0)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; 3–4 days per week in the office

OTE: €68,000–€90,000 EUR annually for candidates located in Ireland, including base salary and incentive compensation.

Okta provides identity and access management infrastructure, including Auth0, to help organizations secure applications, users, and AI-enabled systems.

What you will do

• Support customers throughout discovery, validation, proposal, and due diligence stages.
• Deliver live Auth0 demonstrations, sales presentations, and technical explanations for diverse audiences.
• Partner with sales teams as the technical counterpart for customer evaluation of the Auth0 platform.
• Focus on Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) and show how Auth0 fits into existing architectures and use cases.
• Design and execute outcome-driven proofs of concept.
• Represent Okta at local and regional events and continue developing expertise in identity, security, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and technical concept simplification skills.
• Interest in identity and access management, cloud technologies, and security concepts.
• Some familiarity with modern development environments or programming concepts, plus a willingness to learn.
• Availability to work from the Dublin office 3–4 days per week.

Nice to have

• Customer-facing experience in sales, consulting, support, project management, or stakeholder-focused university projects.
• Presales experience, including internships or university programs.
• Understanding of identity protocols such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth, FIDO, SCIM, or LDAP.
• Knowledge of identity-related cybersecurity topics and hands-on software development experience.
• Fluency in Dutch, French, or German.
