News Producer, Telemundo News Service Miami

Location: Miami, Florida, United States. Full-time onsite work is required at an hirify.global-designated worksite; travel may be required for special assignments.

What you will do

• Select stories and design daily newscasts to achieve editorial goals.
• Execute live shots and satellite remotes during live newscasts.
• Respond to breaking news with urgency and accuracy.
• Write and edit news scripts while working with journalists to improve stories and presentation.
• Contribute story ideas and participate in coverage decisions and editorial meetings.
• Follow Telemundo News standards and ethics while taking responsibility for editorial decisions.

Requirements

• Excellent Spanish reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Leadership qualities, strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work under intense deadline pressure.
• Experience with non-linear editing and shooting workflows, plus sound news judgment and ethical decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work in Miami, varying shifts, nights, weekends, emergencies, and travel assignments are required.
