Location: Remote, with expenses-paid trips to headquarters for team meetups

Salary: €33,000–€43,000 annual

Company

hirify.global provides a shipping and fulfillment platform that helps merchants automate carrier selection, label generation, tracking, and delivery management across multiple e-commerce platforms and couriers.

What you will do

  • Read, assess, and adapt existing CI/CD pipelines for new data platform tasks.
  • Extend infrastructure-as-code according to established repository patterns.
  • Apply data engineering and governance standards, including naming conventions, access control, and retention policies.
  • Build self-service tooling with a template repository, preconfigured CI, infrastructure-as-code, governance, and one-command pipeline modules.
  • Own the access-request flow for data resources and maintain documentation that enables engineering teams to work independently.
  • Take ownership of the template repository and infrastructure-as-code modules, including roadmap decisions.

Requirements

  • Independent end-to-end ownership of a deployment path, including writing the pipeline, troubleshooting failures, and creating the runbook.
  • Ability to open unfamiliar code, explain its behavior, and identify likely failure points.
  • Approximately 2 or more years of professional experience.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Daily working knowledge of Python and SQL, plus Docker and cloud fundamentals; AWS experience is required at a conceptual level.
  • Comfort working across data engineering, backend, and infrastructure; this is not a frontend or ML research role.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SageMaker or similar cloud data and machine-learning infrastructure.
  • Experience using AI coding tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor while being able to explain and validate their output.

Culture & Benefits

  • Remote flexibility with expenses-paid trips to headquarters for team meetups.
  • Meal vouchers, including for remote employees.
  • Mental health support, fitness benefits, and a yearly learning budget.
  • No clock-in or clock-out policy and a one-time home office allowance.
  • Birthday Time Off, a Career Growth Program, and structured feedback.
  • International team with an emphasis on ownership, reasoning, honest retrospectives, and respect for existing patterns.

Hiring process

  • Introductory call with the People & Culture team and a short non-technical reasoning exercise.
  • Up to 90-minute practical take-home exercise using an existing codebase, with AI tools allowed.
  • Technical discussion about the submission, followed by a Team Lead conversation.
