Salary: $130,000–$165,000 per year for positions in Connecticut and New York

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain a high-performance Order Management System.
• Build scalable and robust financial trading applications primarily with Java and object-oriented programming.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance for scalability and low latency.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast-paced financial trading environment.
• Contribute to feature planning, architecture discussions, documentation, code reviews, and engineering mentorship.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with unit testing and code reviews.
• Excellent problem-solving and execution skills.
• Ability to mentor other engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience with Java and knowledge of the financial trading ecosystem.
