What you will do
- Develop new features and maintain existing logistics and intermodal software products.
- Turn user stories and acceptance criteria into working software, then refine and estimate development tasks.
- Review code, test implementations, and meet the team’s definition of done.
- Work with QA and automation testers on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Improve code quality, development tools, team processes, and product integrations across TBA teams.
- Investigate incidents, fix root causes, maintain documentation, and join the out-of-hours support rota after becoming established in the role.
Requirements
- Professional software development experience.
- Strong C# and .NET Core skills.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Git, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
- Practical understanding of Agile delivery, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong problem-solving, organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues and customers.
Nice to have
- Experience with Blazor.
- Experience with message brokers such as ActiveMQ.
- Knowledge of domain-driven design.
- Experience working in a scaled Agile environment.
