Senior Engineer (.NET)

Location: Hybrid, with 2 days a week in the Nottingham office, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Build and maintain cloud-native microservices and web applications for the Ascend Cloud Foundation Platform.
• Develop scalable, maintainable, and performant APIs using .NET, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Work with Kubernetes and AWS services to deliver resilient, observable, and highly available systems.
• Maintain existing systems while contributing to cloud modernisation and technology transformation.
• Collaborate with software engineers and report into the Engineering Director.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with .NET 6+, .NET Core, or .NET Framework.
• Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET.
• Experience building REST, SOAP, or RPC APIs.
• Experience with microservice or service-oriented architectures.
• Recent experience with cloud-native technologies.
