Software Engineer, Freight Control (Logistics)

Location: Hybrid, based in Stockholm or Gothenburg, Sweden

What you will do

• Develop software for Saga, a freight management platform for electric transport.
• Work with vehicle telematics, electric vehicle route planning, transport planning, and energy-consumption machine learning models.
• Use technologies including Go, gRPC, GCP, GraphQL, React, and TypeScript.
• Enhance backend architecture and translate customer needs into effective technical solutions.
• Design integrations with Shipper TMS platforms and solve complex B2B transportation requirements.
• Collaborate with product, design, and stakeholders from problem definition through delivery.

Requirements

• Several years of backend development experience.
• Experience developing business systems and translating complex business processes into system designs.
• Knowledge of techniques such as Domain-Driven Design.
• Strong ownership and the ability to drive initiatives from idea to delivery.
• Ability to stay current with AI models and tools and identify where they can improve work.
• Availability to work in a hybrid setup based in Stockholm or Gothenburg, Sweden.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go.
