What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Python Flask API applications with low-latency responses.
- Develop batch and streaming data ingestion solutions using SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL technologies such as Redis.
- Implement reliable REST API endpoints on Kubernetes using an API gateway such as Kong.
- Build and maintain fraud recommendation applications powered by data pipelines, machine learning models, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, product managers, and senior engineers to translate business needs into data solutions.
- Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to data quality, observability, testing, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Experience developing scalable software and data applications.
- Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with Flask or similar frameworks.
- Experience with batch or stream data ingestion and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Experience implementing REST APIs and working with Kubernetes deployments.
- Understanding of containerization, ArgoCD, testing, monitoring, and data quality practices.
- Ability to collaborate in code reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
