TL;DR
Delivery Solutions Architect (Data & AI): Designing and delivering secure, governed, and scalable Databricks architectures for complex customer data and AI use cases with an accent on technical strategy, platform adoption, and production readiness. Focus on building prototypes, solving ambiguous architecture problems, optimizing performance and cost, and aligning customer, partner, and internal teams.
Location: Munich, Germany. Travel up to 30% as needed.

What you will do
- Define technical execution strategies across complex customer use cases and multiple workstreams.
- Advise customer technical leads and architects on architecture and technical decisions.
- Design secure, governed, scalable Databricks architectures balancing performance, cost, reliability, and long-term needs.
- Build and demonstrate working solutions, prototypes, and reusable technical assets.
- Drive platform adoption and consumption by connecting technical execution to measurable business outcomes.
- Align Databricks, customer, partner, and implementation teams while managing risks and mentoring peers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, solutions engineering, technical consulting, professional services, data engineering, or a related technical role.
- Experience influencing technical strategy and architecture across complex customer use cases or multiple workstreams.
- Strong coding proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, or similar languages.
- Deep knowledge of distributed data systems, data engineering, analytics, data warehousing, AI/ML, and modern cloud architectures.
- Experience designing secure, governed, scalable, production-ready data solutions and leading architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Databricks experience or certification.
- Expertise in AI/ML, data engineering, streaming, data warehousing, governance, or migrations.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and production cloud deployments.
- Experience creating reusable technical frameworks, demos, or enablement materials.
