Field Scientist - MSAT (Bioprocess Filtration)

Location: Remote from France, preferably Paris or Lyon; travel to customer sites across Europe up to 50% of the time.

What you will do

• Provide technical pre- and post-sales support for integrating Cytiva filtration technologies into customer processes.
• Apply normal flow and tangential flow filtration products to develop bioprocess solutions.
• Conduct feasibility assessments, technical consultations, customer training, and bench-scale trials.
• Support scale-up and scale-down studies, testing plans, data analysis, process sizing, compatibility recommendations, troubleshooting, and field investigations.
• Travel to customer sites for technical meetings, test work, presentations, and project reviews.
• Collaborate with commercial and R&D teams while maintaining customer engagement throughout projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, chemical engineering, biological engineering, or a related scientific or engineering field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry within MSAT, process development, manufacturing, or a related technical function.
• Experience providing technical support and working directly with customers.
• Fluent French, written and spoken.
• Business-level English, written and spoken.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time across Europe.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for drug manufacturing and biopharmaceutical production.
• Knowledge of purification and filtration techniques used in bioprocessing and drug manufacturing.
• Additional European language skills, such as German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or Dutch.
