GNSS Engineer (GNSS)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. Hybrid working model with up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and validate GNSS signal generation, acquisition, tracking, demodulation, positioning, and navigation algorithms.
• Develop and integrate GNSS software tools for experimentation, receiver prototyping, simulators, and test platforms.
• Analyze GNSS signals and receiver performance using real and simulated data.
• Define and execute functional and performance verification tests.
• Write technical documentation and support feature design, implementation, and testing.
• Perform root cause analysis of functional, performance, and integration issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Physics, or a related engineering field.
• Knowledge of and interest in Global Navigation Satellite Systems.
• Fundamentals of GNSS systems, signals, and observables.
• Knowledge of digital signal processing and estimation techniques.
• Python programming skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with GNSS receivers, simulators, or analysis tools.
• Knowledge of positioning, navigation, and timing algorithms, satellite-based augmentation systems, or precise positioning techniques.
• RF and communications fundamentals, signal analysis, data-processing tools, software engineering methodologies, or Git.
