Location: Kuala Lumpur / Petaling Jaya, Malaysia; hybrid work with up to 50% of time from home

What you will do
- Own operational customer master data management in SAP ERP, including creation, maintenance, hierarchies, assortments, business partners, and customer blocks.
- Validate and complete data requests as an approver while applying data governance principles and supporting data quality initiatives.
- Maintain transactional and material master data fields that influence sales orders, delivery, invoicing, and fulfillment.
- Create and update pricing conditions, gross price lists, and on- and off-invoice contracts in line with commercial policies.
- Perform contract approval checks, create settlement requests, and monitor credit note creation.
- Coordinate with neighboring functions to improve master data update lead times and process efficiency.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal English is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in master data management, contract management, pricing, commercial conditions, or a similar field.
- Hands-on SAP experience is essential; S/4HANA experience is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills, with knowledge of data quality and data cleansing.
- Experience participating in project teams and collaborating with internal clients and cross-functional teams.
- Additional verbal and written language skills are required when supporting China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, or Middle Eastern countries.
Nice to have
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or shared service environment.
- Knowledge of SAP MDG and Condition Contract Management modules.
- Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience coaching or training junior or new employees.
