TL;DR
PLM CAD Data Management Analyst (Windchill/Creo): Maintaining CAD assets, metadata, product structures, and document relationships in Windchill for product development and manufacturing with an accent on data quality, CAD-BOM alignment, and access management. Focus on resolving structural discrepancies, supporting bulk data loading and product variants, and improving PLM reporting and process compliance.
Location: Malaysia - Penang MDT, Perai, Penang
Salary: MYR 4,000–6,000 per month

Development & Tooling Sdn Bhd provides product development, digital model making, digital mold design, and injection manufacturing services for die-cast molds in Perai, Penang.
What you will do
- Maintain CAD assets, metadata, classifications, documents, and product structures in Windchill.
- Create and manage assembly and sub-assembly relationships, product development containers, team setups, metadata, and access controls.
- Load CAD data and related documents, including bulk document loading, container replication, and product variant data setup.
- Manage production shared geometry states and support geometry quality checks.
- Resolve naming, missing asset, structure, and other data integrity issues while supporting CAD-BOM tying and BOM reconciliation.
- Support user onboarding, training, access requests, reporting, audits, and continuous improvement with brand and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience with PLM/PDM systems and CAD tools in product development, engineering, or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with product data management, CAD structures, metadata, document control, product structures, and BOMs.
- Experience with data quality, reporting, auditing, or process compliance activities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new systems and processes.
- Good English communication skills are required; the role works with global teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with PTC Windchill and Creo.
- Experience with Oracle Agile, SolidWorks, Autodesk, Teamcenter, or comparable systems.
- Strong technical aptitude and learning agility for candidates with less direct PLM/CAD experience.
- Mandarin communication skills for liaising with vendors and stakeholders.
