Lead Full Stack Engineer (Java +Ang)

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable full-stack solutions using Java, Angular, databases, and REST APIs.
• Build and maintain backend services and responsive frontend applications for high-volume, multilingual platforms.
• Design secure APIs and integrations across distributed services, applying OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Develop database-centric functionality and optimize queries, data access, and application performance.
• Deploy and operate applications using AWS or Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, maintain documentation, and collaborate with international technical and business teams.

Requirements

• EQF Level 7 university degree and 15+ years of professional IT or full-stack software engineering experience.
• 15+ years of hands-on experience with Java and SQL, including Spring Boot, Hibernate, database design, query optimization, and PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• 10+ years of Git experience, including GitFlow or trunk-based development, plus knowledge of SVN.
• 5+ years of experience with Domain-Driven Design and Angular, with strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills.
• Experience with Kafka, distributed application integration, high-volume public-sector grant or funding systems, PM2-Agile, and multilingual applications localized into 10+ languages.
• C1+ English proficiency required. Experience with RESTful API security, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS or Azure, and reusable Angular component libraries is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with EU institutional or public administration environments.
• French language skills.
• AWS or Azure developer certification.
