Senior Internal Auditor (AI)

Location: Singapore, Singapore. Additional listed locations include Austin and Santa Clara, United States, and Hsinchu, Taiwan. Travel: 10% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Execute operational audits and advisory projects involving complex, high-risk processes, regional operations, suppliers, SOX testing, IT projects, and investigations.
• Plan audits, conduct process interviews and walkthroughs, define testing attributes, and perform fieldwork in accordance with IIA standards.
• Identify control gaps, risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities; draft findings and consolidate audit reports.
• Monitor remediation progress, validate corrective actions, collect evidence, and drive audit closure in Optro.
• Lead small-scale audits or workstreams and support junior auditors during planning, issue resolution, and project delivery.
• Present audit results and remediation status to stakeholders, project teams, the Project Manager, and the CAE.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in internal audit or compliance within complex and global environments.
• Experience performing operational audits and advisory projects involving high-risk and high-complexity engagements.
• Proficiency with Optro, audit documentation applications, IIA standards, and audit quality practices.
• Strong operational audit, risk management, internal controls, communication, stakeholder management, and professional judgment skills.
• Interest in applying AI and emerging technologies to improve audit effectiveness, efficiency, and quality.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• CIA, CPA, CTPRP, or CISA certification, or progress toward certification.
• Experience with SAP ERP, data analytics tools, and technology-enabled audit techniques.
• Experience leading audit scopes and working in global, matrixed organizations.
• Additional language skills, including Mandarin Chinese or European languages.
