Senior Data Engineer (Banking)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office in Warsaw, Gdynia, or Gdańsk, Poland

Rate: Up to 145 PLN per hour on a B2B agreement

What you will do

• Design and build ETL processes and data pipelines that integrate data across multiple systems.
• Enable reliable and secure data sharing between applications.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and high availability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to gather and fulfill data requirements.

Requirements

• Strong experience with data storage technologies, with mandatory expertise in SQL Server.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, or T-SQL database programming.
• Solid experience in data modeling and building ETL processes or data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and APIs, plus a broad understanding of data technologies and the data landscape.
• Fluent English at B2/C1 minimum level for communication in an international environment.
• Availability for hybrid work with 3 office days per week in Warsaw, Gdynia, or Gdańsk.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake and AWS S3 storage.
• Knowledge of DB2.
