What you will do
- Lead the pre-opening HR strategy, organizational structure, workforce planning, and large-scale recruitment.
- Build HR systems, processes, recruitment platforms, timekeeping, payroll, and learning systems for the Athens property.
- Develop onboarding, training, cultural induction, and operational readiness programs.
- Ensure compliance with Greek labor law, EU/EEA requirements, collective agreements, employment contracts, working-time rules, and ERGANI II reporting.
- Manage immigration, work authorization, sponsorship, and legal onboarding for third-country nationals and expatriates.
- Oversee payroll, benefits, terminations, severance calculations, and compliant HR operations.
Requirements
- Human Resources management experience in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of Greek labor law and related employment regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluency in Greek and English, written and spoken.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Managers must be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodation.
