Health Program Manager (Cigna Healthcare)

What you will do

• Lead strategic projects from inception through completion, aligning scope, deliverables, timelines, governance, business cases, and resources with organizational goals.
• Develop and maintain project plans covering schedules, budgets, risks, and communication strategies.
• Monitor delivery progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate collaboration across technology, finance, data and analytics, operations, internal teams, and external partners.
• Prepare executive updates, presentations, and post-implementation reviews, and recommend process improvements.
• Support initiatives such as creating the foundations for claims automation across international healthcare operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects using established methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Experience or exposure to claims, pre-authorization, provider networks, reconciliation, strategy, finance, or change management.
• Strong strategic thinking, quantitative and qualitative analysis, data-driven decision making, communication, influence, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting organizational change initiatives and guiding teams through transitions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to work in Madrid, Spain. English communication skills are required; additional languages are preferred but not required.
