R&D Project Manager (Airport Mobility)

Location: Hybrid role based on-site in Mieres, Asturias, with partial remote work. Applicants should be located in Asturias.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain R&D project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Track project budgets, development costs, and resource utilization.
• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain activities.
• Facilitate project reviews, progress tracking, management reporting, KPI reporting, and documentation.
• Escalate issues, support decision-making, and ensure compliance with product development and project governance processes.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering or technical studies.
• Hands-on knowledge and experience in project, program, or portfolio management.
• Experience with product development processes, project management processes, and related tools in global environments.
• At least 5–7 years of professional experience, ideally in program management or consultancy within an international or multicultural environment.
• Ability to lead initiatives without formal authority in a matrix organization, resolve conflicts, and build effective relationships with management and teams.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, executive reporting, and MS Office skills; high English level and willingness to travel.
