Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; headquarters in Beloit, Wisconsin. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

AccuLynx provides SaaS business management software for roofing contractors, including tools for scheduling, workflow automation, communication, mapping, and customer management.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate services used by thousands of customers.
• Deliver well-tested code for new product features and fixes across the full stack.
• Collaborate on feature design, implementation, testing, and code reviews.
• Build real-time communication tools, field work-scheduling applications, workflow automation, mapping features, and a public RESTful API.
• Review junior engineers’ work and provide coaching and feedback.
• Use Agile practices to improve software development processes and product quality.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of software development experience, including 7+ years of full-stack web development.
• Strong experience across frontend, backend, and database development.
• Professional experience with Vue, C#, SQL Server, Redis, Elasticsearch, and Git.
• Strong coding, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging while maintaining code quality.
• Legal authorization to work within the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of HTML5 and mobile responsive development.
• Contributions to open-source projects or Stack Overflow.
• Availability for occasional after-hours support.
