Head of Finance System

What you will do

• Define and own the financial systems strategy and roadmap across ERP, sub-ledgers, reporting, reconciliation, and automation platforms.
• Build, lead, and develop a lean Financial Systems team, including hiring, performance management, mentoring, and career growth.
• Drive finance transformation from identifying manual processes through prototyping, implementation, and production deployment.
• Own ERP integrations, data models, customizations, migrations, and upgrade strategy.
• Champion AI and automation, including LLM-powered workflows, RPA, copilots, anomaly detection, and automated journal-entry generation.
• Build scalable finance data pipelines, maintain system controls and audit readiness, manage vendors, and oversee UAT and release governance.

Requirements

• 12–15+ years of experience across finance operations, systems, and technology leadership.
• Deep expertise with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, or Workday, including integrations, data migrations, and platform strategy.
• Experience leading finance transformation programs, system consolidations, or greenfield implementations.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or VBA, with the ability to prototype solutions directly.
• Production experience deploying AI/ML or RPA in finance environments, plus strong knowledge of internal controls, SOX, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Experience leading lean teams, influencing CFO-level stakeholders, and collaborating with engineering counterparts.
