Working Student Ground Robotics (Robotics)

What you will do

• Own a clearly scoped module or work package within Ground Robotics projects with support from an experienced engineer.
• Clarify requirements and interfaces, develop concepts, and compare practical solution options.
• Design mechanical assemblies, electrical units, or software modules and create CAD, drawings, wiring documentation, code, configurations, or parts lists.
• Build and integrate solutions into tracked prototypes with Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Development, and Verification teams.
• Plan and perform bench or vehicle tests, evaluate results, and improve the design.
• Document work and present progress and results in technical reviews.

Requirements

• Currently studying mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, robotics, computer science, or a comparable subject.
• Practical experience from a university project, student team, internship, hobby project, or workshop work.
• Basic knowledge in at least one area: CAD and mechanics, electronics and wiring, Python/Linux, embedded systems, testing, or data evaluation.
• Careful, reliable working style with strong documentation habits.
• English communication skills required; German is helpful.
