Walkdown Verification Engineer (CAD/BIM)

What you will do

• Conduct field walkdowns of process, utility, and facility systems.
• Verify installed equipment, piping, instrumentation, and infrastructure against drawings and project documentation.
• Identify discrepancies, prepare redlines, and update engineering drawings and as-built documentation.
• Generate punch lists, field observation reports, and accurate walkdown records.
• Coordinate with design, construction, commissioning, maintenance, operations, and project stakeholders.
• Support site surveys, data collection, drawing management, and document control while meeting safety and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in engineering, engineering technology, CAD technology, building services, mechanical design, process engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in an industrial or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD or a similar CAD platform.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or process industries.
• Exposure to BIM, Revit, Navisworks, or 3D design tools.
• Experience with commissioning, qualification, validation, engineering change control, GMP environments, laser scanning, digital surveys, or model verification.
