What you will do
- Own the operational readiness, availability, reliability, and fitness for purpose of Combat System Simulators.
- Act as the maritime warfare and simulator subject matter expert for Navy, DXC engineering teams, and Defence stakeholders.
- Coordinate operational and technical issues between Navy, engineers, and project teams, including escalation and resolution.
- Support the design, testing, implementation, configuration, integration, and upgrades of simulator systems.
- Develop, test, and deliver simulation scenarios, training games, training packages, debriefing, and assessment criteria.
- Conduct performance assessments and site reporting while driving continuous improvement and issue resolution.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in a maritime warfare environment, including real-world or synthetic environments.
- At least 5 years of experience in a maritime synthetic environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a relevant technical specialty.
- Experience with application development, system integration, and technical product or vendor selection.
- Strong practical problem-solving and hands-on technical skills.
- Active Australian Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain at least NV1 clearance, plus the ability to hold or attain ITAR Classified clearance.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience from another career path.
