Technical Account Manager (Postgres)

Location: Remote - United States; travel up to 25% as required

What you will do

• Build trusted relationships with senior technical leadership at large and complex customers.
• Help customers maximize the value of their Postgres investments and develop deployment strategies.
• Provide technical leadership for major Postgres initiatives, including solutions consulting, architecture guidance, and project management.
• Maintain functional and technical knowledge of the EDB product portfolio and answer customer technical questions.
• Collect and communicate customer-driven product feedback to product management.
• Document best practices for developing and deploying EDB solutions.

Requirements

• At least five years of hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL Server.
• Advanced skills in data management platforms, operating systems, cloud technologies, and technical architecture.
• Knowledge of data analytics and AI/ML concepts, plus experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, including communication with CxO-level personnel.
• Understanding of strategic sales processes and the ability to manage competing client demands.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent technical training or industry experience is preferred.
