RAL Multimedia Lead (Drupal)

Location: Boulder, Colorado, United States. All roles require compliance with U.S. export control regulations and work location requirements.

Hiring range: 21.00–130.00 USD.

What you will do

• Provide expert consultation to the Research Applications Laboratory Communications team on complex communication, outreach, and multimedia materials.
• Plan and advise on the RAL website refresh and upgrade.
• Mentor new communications staff on Drupal development for content stories.
• Build and manage creative website content and multiple project websites within the main RAL website.
• Develop web applications, database structures, access methods, and relational database queries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of web architecture, web development methodologies, and web application architecture.
• Proficiency in at least one web-oriented programming language, such as PHP, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Perl.
• Experience customizing and administering a content management system such as Drupal or Plone.
• Expertise in illustration, drafting, design, layout, electronic prepress, and graphic arts techniques for print, exhibits, or multimedia.
• Visa sponsorship is not available, and relocation assistance is not provided.
