Manufacturing Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, SGP; onsite cleanroom work

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and written instructions to complete manufacturing tasks.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and process improvements under supervision.
• Inspect parts for defects and audit material availability.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies.
• Complete production documentation and perform computer programming, repairs, or software installations as needed.

Requirements

• High school or technical diploma, technical degree, certificate, or equivalent.
• Basic analytical, scientific-method, or operational-process skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom and meet physical requirements, including extended standing, lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
• Ability to use personal protective equipment and distinguish between colors; forklift or heavy-machinery operation may be required.

Nice to have

• Up to one year of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industrial or military experience.
• Technical education, certifications, or training.
• Experience following standard operating procedures, applying scientific methods, and meeting quality guidelines.
• ASSET or BSEET qualification.
